About the 2023 Quality Conference

The 2023 CMS Quality Conference, brought to you by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, is the premier health care quality conference focused on improving quality, equity, and innovation. Leaders in the health care space will explore and educate how advocates, providers, researchers, and champions in health care quality improvement can develop and spread solutions to address America’s most pervasive health system challenges.

The 2023 CMS Quality Conference, Building Resilient Communities: Having an Equitable Foundation for Quality Health Care, is scheduled for May 1-3, 2023, is a virtual convention featuring expert speakers on a broad range of health care topics.

This conference represents the widest reaching gathering of health care quality leaders assembled by the federal government and builds on existing quality improvement investments for an even broader, positive impact on the American people.

Click the yellow REGISTER button at the top right corner. This process will register you with your email address which lets us know that you should be receiving additional information regarding how to attend the conference via your computer or mobile device.
Most up-to-date computers and mobile devices, such as laptops, desktops, and handheld tablets, can run the virtual event for you. Once the event platform opens, you will be able to log in and update your profile information in preparation for the event. Please note, the virtual platform is not compatible with Internet Explorer.

  • On the event website, click the orange Support button in the bottom right corner of the website.
  • Inside the virtual event platform (after you’ve logged in), click the Technical Support button in the top navigation bar.

In a word, yes! You will be given the opportunity to select which sessions you’d like to attend virtually. It is up to you to decide which sessions interest you in each time block and to attend those sessions as desired. You may attend as many or as few sessions as you want. If you’re interested in more than one session scheduled in the same time slot don’t worry! All the sessions are recorded and will be available shortly after the conference.
CMS will not be providing CEUs for this conference; however, we will provide a Certificate of Attendance at the conclusion of the conference.
We encourage you to ask questions using the Zoom chat option. This tool allows attendees to pose questions to the session presenters for response during the live session or afterwards as a follow up.
Like an in-person conference, sessions are scheduled to run concurrently. Review the agenda to see all the session topics and speakers. If you missed a session or wanted to attend two sessions that are being held at the same time, the session recordings will be available shortly after the conference.
Everyone will need to register themselves for the conference. Everyone is welcome and all registrations are accepted instantly, so they will be allowed to access the event right away.

You will receive a certificate through platform post-event.
Yes, there will be a Poster Hall. After you log into the event platform, click on the Poster Hall button in the top navigation bar to view our showcase of posters.

  • Sessions – Live Q&A opportunities at the end of each session, download materials made available by the speakers directly in the Session Player, take notes directly in the session which will be sent to you via email after the conference, network with attendees during the session via the chat, and more!
  • Networking Lounge – opportunities to connect with other attendees and speakers via attendee directory, schedule 1:1 virtual calls, chat 1:1 and so much more!
